Meet the Team
At Apex Financial Planning, our clients deal directly with our two directors, Callum Healey and Peter Nottingham. Together, they bring complementary experience across pensions, retirement planning, investments, financial protection and long-term financial planning.
Callum is a Diploma-qualified financial adviser who specialises in pensions, investments and inheritance tax planning. He also has particular experience helping NHS professionals understand their pension benefits and make informed decisions about retirement. Peter has extensive pension and investment experience, including previous work with one of the UK’s largest occupational pension providers, where he supported important client relationships and complex pension arrangements.
We have deliberately built Apex around personal, director-led advice. Callum and Peter take responsibility for getting to know their clients, understanding what they want to achieve, providing recommendations and reviewing their plans over time. Clients therefore have direct access to the adviser responsible for their financial planning.
To support this service, we outsource elements of our administration to carefully selected and approved specialist firms. This gives Apex additional capacity, continuity and efficient case processing while allowing Callum and Peter to spend more time advising and looking after clients. The advice and client relationship remain under their oversight, and clients continue to deal directly with them.
Apex Financial Planning Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Quilter Financial Services Limited, which provides our regulatory oversight and compliance framework. Through this relationship, we also benefit from access to technical resources, systems, training and professional support.
For our clients, this combines the accessibility and personal attention of a director-led financial-planning firm with the governance, infrastructure and resources of an established UK financial-services group. It helps us maintain robust standards, keep pace with regulatory and technical developments and focus our time on providing clear, considered advice.
